Interests
I’m interested in a lot of things, but since this blog is primary about computer science based projects, I’ll only list those topics for which I plan to do some side projects in the future:
- programming languages (functional, script-based, exotic and esoteric ones)
- virtual machines (llvm, jvm, scheme48, …)
- parallel multicore programming
- physics simulation
- Write own small wiki with some neat functions like automatic appointment extractio, a lot of AJAX to create a fast and usable application
- combinatorial optimization algorithms
- game theory and artificial intelligence
- web technologies (Javascript, Google Gears, Webtoolkits for Javascript, …)
- graphic programming (raytraycing on clusters and multicores) and JMonkeyEngine
- Maybe operating systems like Minix3 (it only has approx. 5000 LOC)
Other hobbies are Go, Aikido, Juggling, Poker, Running, Reading (esp. SciFi and comp.sci books) …
